My Temple in EENADU.NET

Recently when i opened eenadu.net website to read eenadu Newspaper, while exploring the entire news, in the Medak district editional page they  mentioned few well known temples located in the Medak dist. but i was amazed for not seeing my temple in the list, then i shooted them a mail saying that our temple is also well known and famous and i mentioned all about our temple, name and its location. also gave this blog as an referrence to them for more details.
        After few days when i opened eenadu.net again i see my Temple listed in it, i was very happy and i thanked the editor of eenadu for reading my blog and listing my temple in the website for the readers.

About Temple

This temple is 800 year old and renovated by Swamy Madanaananda Saraswathi, who is the Head of Basava Kalyana Peetham, Karnataka. The temple is under the control of Sri Sringeri Jagadguru Mahasansthan, Dakshinaamnaaya Sarada Peetham. You cannot see the temple from outside as it is surrounded by the fort but can see a GOPURAM.The speciality of this temple, Deity is made of a single stone with a unique height of 15 feet and people say that this is the 2nd biggest Durga Bhavani maatha Idol in the world(You can see the pictures of IDOL here http://ismailkhanpet.blogspot.com/2011/12/temple-gallery.html . Daily Sevas will be performed regularly. Annual Festivals will be observed on Palguna Bahula Chavithi, Panchimi & Shasti. Special Seva will be performed on Bhadrapada Bahula Amaavaasya( 50 Kg Turmeric paste will be applied to the deity. Every day Srichakraabhishekam will be performed. Since it has been Renovated few years ago and still need to construct more, many people across the state doesn't know about this temple,its location and its pride

How to reach Temple:     If you are coming from Hyderabad catch the Bus going to Sangareddy Or catch bus going to Patanchervu from there every ½ hour bus is available and get down at Sangareddy Old Bus Station. From there catch any bus going to Narsapur and get down at Ismailkhanpet.
